Ponti in New York at the Summer Fancy Food Show 2024

Ponti vinegars were the stars of the Italian Pavilion during the 68th edition of the Summer Fancy Food Show, North America’s most important trade fair dedicated to the latest innovations in the world of international gastronomy that has just taken place in New York. “We are proud to share our family’s more than one hundred years of history and Italian food culture as well as our focus on innovation and sustainability at the Summer Fancy Food Show, a venue where the world’s diverse gastronomic experiences come together“, said Giacomo Ponti, President of Ponti Spa. “The creativity of Americans intrigues us, and we analyse it with great interest, trying to offer proposals that enhance cocktails, main dishes, ice cream, and more. We like to experiment with new and unique products to add to the traditional ones. An overseas presence full of appointments for Ponti also outside the trade fair with several moments dedicated to meeting US consumers, starting with the tasting of icing as a topping for pizza as suggested by 13-time World Pizza Champion Tony Gemignani at Pizzeria John’s in Times Square, Eataly Downtown and the two Gentile ice-cream parlours in the West Village and University Place. A programme crowned by an aperitif and paired tasting dinner at the Ci Siamo restaurant, an exclusive occasion dedicated to the press together with President Giacomo Ponti. From the great classic represented by Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI, an icon of Made in Italy, to topping glazes – from the first born, the one with Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI, to soy, chilli, fig, to the BBQ with apple vinegar up to the white glaze with Moscato grape must – to the special Rosé wine vinegar with a summery touch and the 100% Italian apple vinegar from a certified and traceable supply chain with blockchain and QR code, to discover the entire path taken by each individual bottle: from harvesting the fresh apples to bottling.

Ponti delighted the buyers and audience present at the New York event by presenting its range designed to satisfy the tastes of a market that is constantly evolving and pioneering new trends. Made-in-Italy excellence that is the result of an ongoing exchange between the values of Italian tradition and the tastes that are becoming established worldwide, a union that for Ponti becomes synonymous with experimentation and research devoted to innovation.
