An exquisite tableau vivant of elegance, art, and haute couture. This was the scene at Flavia Padovan’s exclusive preview of her new “Blue Night” collection—a line of sartorial creations conceived for the red carpet and the most significant occasions. The event transformed the sumptuous private residence of Palazzo Shedir, in the very heart of the capital, into a temple of multisensory art, celebrating the distinctive ‘Made in Rome’ ethos that defines the brand.
The soirée was graced by a most distinguished gathering, underscoring the brand’s burgeoning prestige. Among the guests were Alessandro Onorato, Councillor for Major Events, Sport, Tourism and Fashion for Roma Capitale, alongside notable figures from the worlds of culture and screen, including Angelica Amodei, Laura Chimenti, Sebastiana Cutugno, and Liliana Fiorelli, the celebrated star of the television series “L’appartamento – Sold Out”. They were joined by Ilaria Grillini, Rosanna Lambertucci, Monica Marangoni, Mariella Milani, Adriana Pannitteri, Veronica Pesci, Luana Ravegnini, and Cinzia TH Torrini.

The halls of Palazzo Shedir, steeped in history, nobility and architectural beauty, provided the perfect backdrop for a series of artistic performances that enveloped guests in a truly immersive and sophisticated atmosphere. From the moment of arrival, attendees were drawn into the intensity of a blue light, with a cascading display of hydrangeas in nuanced shades adorning the palazzo’s grand staircase.
In an ambience that was at once elegant, refined and dreamlike, the evening unfolded with a series of artistic interludes: a concert for violin and cello in the music room, a tango performance in the dance hall, and live portrait illustrations of the guests by the artist Mario Grossi in the art salon.
Within this living canvas, models ‘inhabited’ the scene, showcasing the precious creations of Flavia Padovan. It was a masterful tableau, heightened by expert lighting that served to illuminate blue in all its glorious declensions and subtle shades—from navy and blue night to Leipzig and Indonesia, with a foray into petrol green.
The exclusive collection is an ode to sartorial craftsmanship for grand occasions. Among the unique pieces were a one-shoulder gown in brick-lined wool macramé lace, an asymmetric dress in blue satin adorned with antique gold braiding, a classic floral jacquard décolleté, and a severe, rigorous midi dress in lurex. The obligatory blue tuxedo, with its stiff satin jacket paired with Ottoman trousers, made an appearance, while new arrivals included long-sleeved knit dresses.
And for the Christmas 2025 wardrobe, Flavia Padovan unveiled a proposal set to become a veritable must-have: wide-leg taffeta trousers with pleats, designed to be worn with a shirt—a true leitmotif of this preview collection.

Flavia Padovan, the protagonist behind these “sartorial works,” commented on her vision: “I wished to propose a different direction for eveningwear, for the red carpets and important occasions, by proposing blue as the new black. I selected an intimate yet sumptuous residence that evokes the dreamlike atmosphere of a blue night to present my creations—unique pieces, made in Rome, hand-embroidered and crafted from the most exquisite fabrics.”
