A name that whispers an intimate yet universal story: Belleke, a Dutch term of endearment that embodies the creative soul of Isabelle Gandini, designer, artisan, gemologist, and expert in precious stones. From a young age, Isabelle shaped materials—first wood and resin—driven by a deep connection to nature and the beauty of its organic imperfections. This sensitivity, inspired by the authentic forms of the natural world, lies at the core of her artistic journey.
Isabelle’s path in jewelry-making began in 2005 at the Scuola Orafa Ambrosiana, where she mastered the fundamentals of goldsmithing. However, it was in 2016, with her specialization in High Jewelry and wax modeling, that the distinctive aesthetic of Belleke took shape: minimal, evocative, and poised between raw material and poetic expression. The ancient and evocative lost-wax technique became her chosen medium, crafting jewels that seem to emerge from a timeless realm, blending archaic roots with visionary flair.
In 2019, a diploma in gemology from the Italian Gemological Institute marked a new chapter. Isabelle’s scientific understanding of stones merged with an almost emotional intuition: for her, every gem tells a unique story through its inclusions, shades, and imperfections. What others might see as flaws, she transforms into poetic signatures, making each creation one-of-a-kind.
Isabelle’s materials speak of authenticity: gold, silver, yellow and red bronze are paired with unconventional gems like tourmalines, kyanites, anyolites, and pearls. Each stone is chosen with care, as if destined for that specific piece. Every jewel, handcrafted with precision, is unique and reflects a slow, deliberate process of listening, care, and attention to detail.
Belleke is not merely a brand—it is a continuous act of exploration and devotion. It is a gentle voice in the world of jewelry, celebrating slowness, the memory of hands, and the truth of materials. An invitation to rediscover the beauty hidden in imperfection, transformed into art.
