From 29 April to 31 July 2026, Fondazione Dino Zoli in Forlì presents “Tessere d’Arte. Intrecci tra materia e creazione”, an exhibition dedicated to Fibre Art that explores textile as an expressive medium and a space of experimentation between industry and contemporary artists.
The project stems from the experience of Dino Zoli Textile, a Forlì-based company established in 1972 and a recognised protagonist of Made in Italy worldwide. Over the past nine years, the company has turned its materials, technologies and production expertise into tools for dialogue with the art world, creating a distinctive path of artist residencies, collective exhibitions and collaborations.
At the heart of the show are the artistic residencies, moments of deep exchange between industrial practice and creative research. Particularly significant was Elena Bellantoni’s 2022 residency, which involved company employees in the creation of linen and velvet costumes for her video work Se ci fosse luce sarebbe bellissimo. The exhibition also features collective projects such as Utopiche seduzioni (2023-24) with Francesca Pasquali’s immersive installation Plot, Trame esplorative (2024-25), and È QUI, developed with students from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna and the social cooperatives La Fraternità and Arca di Noè.7
Through works, installations and participatory projects, “Tessere d’Arte” reveals how textile can become narration, memory, identity and a powerful tool of contemporary creation, affirming Dino Zoli Textile’s role as a bridge between manufacturing excellence and artistic research.
A thoughtful exhibition that celebrates the intricate dialogue between material, hand and thought — where Made in Italy becomes a living, contemporary language.
