Rome Future Week 2025 Unveiled at Teatro India: “Mutations” at the Heart of Our Time

The 2025 edition of Rome Future Week was officially presented at Teatro India, the annual event that transforms the capital into a vibrant, participatory observatory on the future. Once again, the initiative confirms its role as a key reference point for those who look ahead—this year with a fresh format and a bold, symbolic theme: mutations.

Stepping away from traditional institutional venues, the choice of Teatro India already signals a shift in tone: a cultural space that speaks to the city in an authentic, inclusive, and contemporary way. A fitting setting to discuss a future in constant transformation.

This year’s theme, “mutations,” is an invitation to explore the major shifts redefining our time—from technology to the environment, from the world of work to social relationships. It’s a fluid, multifaceted concept that lends itself to cross-cutting interpretations. Rome Future Week 2025 aims to be just that: an open, multidisciplinary space for dialogue, capable of welcoming diverse perspectives and inspiring deep reflection.

Technology remains at the core of the event—as tradition demands—but with a renewed sensitivity: one that puts people, human relationships, and communities front and center. Special attention will be devoted to young people, the natural protagonists of any possible future. RFW 2025 seeks to actively engage new generations, offering spaces for expression, learning, and exchange.

Rome Future Week is a widespread, inclusive, and hybrid event. If the presentation broke the mold, the program promises to do the same: citywide events, cross-pollination of art, science, technology, and critical thinking, immersive experiences, and dedicated spaces for listening. Rome Future Week continues to grow and reinvent itself, staying true to its mission: to anticipate the future, while remaining deeply rooted in the present.

The date is set: the future is returning to Rome—more human than ever.
