Rosso Divino, an Enogastronomic and Artistic Journey at Laqua Vineyard

Nestled in the heart of the Pisan hills, Laqua Vineyard, the refined hospitality haven signed by Antonino Cannavacciuolo, joins forces with the historic La Spinetta winery to present Rosso Divino, an exclusive event on Friday, September 26, 2025, weaving together haute cuisine and visual artistry in an immersive experience, where rolling vineyards, breathtaking landscapes, and contemporary design set the stage for a unique sensory journey, with each dish transforming into a color, each wine an inspiration, and each course an emotion. The cuisine of head chef Marco Suriano, the gastronomic soul of Laqua Vineyard, takes center stage with a menu that interprets wine’s nuances through dishes that evoke its hues, captivating and engaging the senses. The evening begins with a pink-hued aperitif, paired with the elegant bubbles of Contrattino, followed by the delicate, canvas-like purity of Scampo alla Pizzaiola, elevated by the crisp Contratto Millesimato Alta Langa DOCG Pas Dosé, then dives into the deep red of Scorfano, Alghe e Limone, matched with Il Nero di Casanova 2024 – Toscana Sangiovese IGT, a dish that dances between marine depths and citrus contrasts.

The chromatic journey continues with the ruby red of Finto Foie Gras with Cashews, Corn, and Sorrel, a refined balance of intensity and lightness paired with La Spinetta’s Langhe Nebbiolo DOC 2024, culminating in an evocative pre-dessert of Bread, Chocolate, Salt, and Rum, in harmony with the aromatic notes of Moscato d’Asti “Bricco Quaglia” 2024, before a finale of petite pastries. Yet wine transcends its role as a mere accompaniment: in partnership with La Spinetta, co-creator of the event, it becomes the medium of art through a live performance by Florentine artist Elisabetta Rogai, renowned for her EnoArte technique, who will create a painting using wine as pigment, transforming its shades into signs, emotions, and movement before the guests’ eyes, with the resulting unique artwork available for exclusive purchase at the evening’s end, making Rosso Divino a celebration of wine as a bridge between taste, creativity, and timeless beauty.
