Vinile Hits the Road with the Range Rover Classic “Remastered” in Maranello, a Luxury Restomod Redefining the Past

Vinile brings its vision to life with the debut of the first road-ready Range Rover Classic “Remastered” in Maranello, set to shine at the Monaco Yacht Show 2025, turning renders into a tangible, drivable reality completed in Maranello’s workshops after its semi-final unveiling at Milan Design Week 2025.

Not just a restoration, but a high-end restomod launching a limited series of fifteen fully customizable units starting at 310,000 euros, this marks the start of an approach that doesn’t merely preserve the past but remasters it with bold attitude, vision, and Italian craftsmanship. Vinile extends beyond automotive, embracing nautical, aerospace, and interior design, drawing inspiration from music vinyl remastering to transform past icons into future objects while honoring their heritage. Led by three entrepreneurs with thirty years of experience in automotive, motorsport, aerospace, and finance, the project is backed by a team of one hundred specialists—engineers, designers, mechanics, and technicians—operating across five production hubs in Maranello over ten thousand square meters, ensuring an integrated process from concept to final assembly.

The Range Rover Classic by Vinile retains the 1970 icon’s proportions, but every detail is reimagined: metallic green body with a glossy black roof, hand-beaten sheet metal, tapered bumpers, flush hood and doors, three-dimensional grilles, LED headlights true to the original design, round fog lights, redesigned mirrors, and a glossy black strip with yellow accents defining the brand’s identity; the rear integrates a diffuser, LED lights, mudguards, spoiler, and a white poplar burl element linking exterior and cabin. The interior is a luxurious sensory journey, with seats, dashboard, steering wheel, door panels, and wheel arches wrapped in forty-five square meters of Baxter leather in Bo.Hemian Choco, Bo.Hemian Savana, and Kashmir Menthe, paired with solid white poplar burl inserts for doors, center console, and dashboard, creating a contemporary rolling lounge blending comfort and tactile refinement. Technology is seamlessly integrated: a 10.1-inch HD Sony-derived touchscreen manages navigation, audio, and cameras with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a knurled aluminum touch encoder controls onboard functions, a business jet-inspired ceiling console features aviation-style buttons, doors project the car’s front via puddle lights, and the owner’s wristwatch can serve as the car’s clock. The audio system, with DAB radio, three Rockford amplifiers, a Mosconi processor, ten Focal speakers, and two subwoofers, delivers crisp, powerful sound.

The original V8 engine, available in 3.5, 3.9, and 4.3 liters, has been overhauled to deliver around 200 horsepower, up from 167, with a neutral suspension and deeper 16-inch wheels with larger tires for enhanced stability and grip. The first five-door model is just the beginning: a three-door version is in production, three LWB models are in the pipeline, and Vinile’s Style Office is already working on new vintage vehicles and projects in nautical, aerospace, and product design, establishing Vinile as a cultural platform redefining luxury through respect for the past and creation of the future.
