With just 30 days left until the grand opening of Expo 2025 Osaka, anticipation is soaring—and the Italian Pavilion has emerged as the most eagerly awaited attraction for Japanese visitors. According to a televised poll by Kansai TV, the pavilion representing Italy is the number one must-see destination, outshining other international exhibits.
The revelation came during a TV program featuring Ambassador Mario Vattani, Italy’s Commissioner General for Expo 2025 Osaka, alongside representatives from other participating nations. The survey’s results were further validated by Japan’s renowned Pen magazine, which crowned the Italian Pavilion as the top choice for Expo-goers. Designed by acclaimed architect Mario Cucinella, the Italian Pavilion revolves around the theme “Art Regenerates Life”, reimagining the Renaissance’s Ideal City through a futuristic lens. The structure aims to place the individual at the heart of tomorrow’s society, aligning with Expo 2025’s overarching vision: “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”. With 160 countries participating and 30 million visitors expected, the Osaka World Expo, launching on April 13, 2025, is set to become a global hub for innovation. And Italy, blending art, technology, and humanistic vision, is ready to captivate Japan—and the world.
