Last October 25, Time Records, an independent Brescian label founded in 1984 by Giacomo Maiolini, simultaneously launched two dance singles drawing on the fabulous 1980s.
We’re talking about Loretta Goggi’s “Maledetta Primavera,” second at the 1981 Sanremo Festivaland extraordinary sales success of over 2 million 300 thousand certified copies, of which the two Sicilian A-Clark & Vinny propose a remix in an afro house key that counts on the presence of sa Loretta captured by the new sonic dress conceived for her hit, and “Easy Lady” epoch-making hit by Ivana Spagna that, thanks to Nuzzle, a young DJ and producer from Bari, has become a viral cover with 6 million views on YouTube and over 35. 000 clips on TikTok-everyone is using the musical theme to bring their most unusual videos to life, in every corner of the Globe.

Nuzzle proposed to Spagna a collaboration for a tricolor version of his famous hit, so “Easy Lady” becomes “T’amo T’amo T’amo” and the popular singer from Veneto performs Neapolitan lyrics. And let’s not call it a nostalgia effect because those who love these covers are, instead, the very young and very good Loretta Goggi and Ivana Spagna who, at the threshold of 70 years of age, put themselves on the line and win, once again, the virality game!
