LAQUA Collection: Where Italian Hospitality Becomes an Experience for the Soul

Born from the shared dream of Michelin-starred chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo and his wife Cinzia Primatesta, the LAQUA Collection redefines authentic luxury through a series of inspirational homes rooted in their surroundings. More than hotels, these properties blend culinary excellence, wellness, and personal narratives. Starting April 4, three of the four destinations—LAQUA by the Lake, LAQUA Countryside, and LAQUA by the Sea—are ready to welcome guests, while LAQUA Vineyard will open its doors on April 10, completing a mosaic of unique experiences across the Sorrento Coast, Lake Orta, Tuscan hills, and Campanian countryside.

LAQUA by the Lake: Harmony of Water and Wellness
Overlooking the crystal-clear waters of Lake Orta, this retreat embodies tranquility and natural design. With 21 rooms and suites, including two new lake-view accommodations and three garden-facing additions, the property seamlessly blends privacy with immersion in the landscape. At its heart lies the Longevity Suite, a 200-sqm wellness sanctuary where cutting-edge science meets treatments like the floating bath experience and Deep Rejuvenating Detox. By June, a wet area with a sauna and ice cascade will enhance the offerings. For exclusivity, the Villa sul Lago becomes a private weekly rental, while the Cannavacciuolo by the Lake restaurant, led by MasterChef alum Gianni Bertone, dazzles with dishes celebrating local flavors.

LAQUA Vineyard: Tuscan Mythology Among the Vines
In the hills of Terricciola, a restored Etruscan farmhouse hosts six suites inspired by mythological deities—from Aphrodite to Dionysus—where minimalist comfort meets rustic charm. The Michelin-starred Cannavacciuolo Vineyard restaurant, helmed by Ligurian chef Marco Suriano, offers open-kitchen dining and a Social Table for immersive dinners. Summer unveils a secret terrace for aperitivos among the vines, while experiential tours range from truffle hunting to wine picnics at the La Spinetta winery. The spa’s Grape-seed treatment transforms grape byproducts into a rejuvenating massage, honoring Tuscan terroir.

LAQUA Countryside: Roots and Memory in Campanian Farmlands
Set in Cannavacciuolo’s childhood home among olive groves and citrus trees, LAQUA Countryside breathes history and tradition. Its Michelin-starred restaurant, led by chef Nicola Somma, merges Southern and Northern Italian flavors, reflecting the chef’s journey from Campania to Piedmont. The suites, including two new ones dedicated to his parents Anna and Andrea, are treasure troves of memory: Anna’s room evokes summer preserves and homegrown gardens, while Andrea’s celebrates artisan craftsmanship through handcrafted wood details.

LAQUA by the Sea: Romance on the Sorrento Coast
Perched above the Sorrento Gulf, this sanctuary invites serenity and sensuality. Six Feng Shui-inspired rooms feature infinity hot tubs and private terraces. The spa shines with the Talea treatment, a linen and blackcurrant oil exfoliation, and the Dolce Vita Ritual, a citrus-infused massage revitalizing body and mind. An ideal base for exploring Capri, Positano, or Pompeii, the property embodies Mediterranean slow living.

LAQUA is not a hotel collection but an invitation to experience Italy through tangible emotions: the scent of Campanian citrus, Lake Orta’s hypnotic calm, Tuscan wine sipped among vines. Every detail—from Michelin-starred menus to suites steeped in family lore—speaks of identity, roots, and timeless beauty. A project transforming travel into an intimate dialogue with the land, where guests don’t merely visit but become part of a story that lingers long after departure.
