From May 14 to August 13, 2025, Rome will host an event destined to leave an indelible mark on the world of luxury: From the Heart to the Hands: Dolce&Gabbana comes to life at Palazzo Esposizioni, a cultural landmark designed by Pio Piacentini and inaugurated in 1883, now a vibrant hub of contemporary creativity.
After captivating Milan and Paris with overwhelming success, the exhibition reinvents itself in the eternal city, not as a mere reprise but as a singular experience where the creations of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana merge with neoclassical architecture, weaving a narrative that blends fashion, art, memory, and Italian identity. Promoted by the Culture Department of Roma Capitale and Azienda Speciale Palaexpo, with the patronage of Roma Capitale, the exhibition is masterfully orchestrated by Palaexpo in partnership with IMG, curated by Florence Müller, and brought to life with scenography by Agence Galuchat.
Spanning 1,500 square meters, over two hundred unique Alta Moda pieces by Dolce&Gabbana unfold in a journey that exalts artisanal mastery and the duo’s creative vision. Each garment is a masterpiece, bearing witness to the journey from the heart, the wellspring of inspiration, to the hands that shape raw materials with unparalleled precision. It is a celebration of Italy, the brand’s eternal muse, reflected in every detail, from sensual silhouettes to opulent embellishments.

The exhibition unfolds through immersive rooms that explore the essence of Dolce&Gabbana: a luxury that is both elegant and irreverent, traditional and revolutionary. The themes animating the show – from Renaissance art to folklore, from Opera to la dolce vita – paint a multifaceted portrait of Italy, alive with grand architecture, enveloping music, and timeless traditions. Adding depth to the journey, works by selected visual artists converse with the brand’s creations, amplifying the emotional resonance of an experience that transcends fashion to become a total immersion in beauty. At Palazzo Esposizioni, Dolce&Gabbana does more than exhibit – it invites dreaming. It is a tribute to creativity born from a love for Italian culture, a dialogue between past and future that makes Rome, for three months, the stage for a luxury that enchants and inspires. From the Heart to the Hands is an experience that captures the soul, transforming every visitor into a witness to boundless elegance.
