As it gears up for its 127th edition at Veronafiere from 6 to 9 November, Fieracavalli brings its equestrian magic to the inaugural Regional Truffle Fair in Ferrara di Monte Baldo (18–20 July). The weekend celebrates nature and equine culture, featuring children’s workshops, the renowned Baptism of the Saddle, and the unveiling of the new Monte Baldo equestrian route: a 45 km trail winding from Verona along the Adige riverbanks, through hills and alpine pastures, to the Sacrario del Baldo.
On Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 July, young ones can dive into creative workshops—from crafting insect houses to making leaf mandalas—while adults explore the joys of equestrian tourism through the itinerary designed with Natura a Cavallo. “This project merges slow tourism, sustainability, and regional enhancement,” says Armando Di Ruzza of Veronafiere, highlighting a decade-long commitment to the sector, from the Italia a Cavallo guide to the fair’s Outdoor area. A must-visit for enthusiasts, the event previews the eagerly awaited autumn gathering in Verona, where Fieracavalli will return with fresh ways to experience the equestrian world in all its glory. For now, amid giant soap bubbles and horseback rides, Ferrara di Monte Baldo gears up for a celebration scented with truffles and freedom.
