The Super Yachts Extension, consisting of three floating barges, is the Vieux Port area projected out to sea that brings together some 30 yachts larger than 24 meters. It is here that we meet Marcello Maggi – President of Wider – the first shipyard that, with an eye to the future, has introduced the “Wider Power Management System” that allows the application of hybrid-electric propulsion both while sailing and when the yacht is at anchor, guaranteeing a strong reduction in ecological and environmental impact also by zeroing noise and vibrations.
