Jesolo, a city that is a symbol of seaside tourism and cultural liveliness, is preparing to become the beating heart of independent watchmaking with the launch of W.O.J. – Watches of Jesolo, an innovative, international event that promises to revolutionise the watchmaking scene during the spring season. The appointment, set for Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 May 2025, will take place at the Palazzo del Turismo in Jesolo, in Piazza Brescia, and is a prestigious spin-off of W.O.I. – Watches of Italy, the renowned fair dedicated to Italian watchmaking. W.O.J. will not be a simple fair, but an immersive experience in the world of independent watchmaking, with a careful selection of Italian brands and emerging international brands with high potential. The objective is clear: to create a meeting point for enthusiasts, collectors and the curious, offering a global showcase to discover the latest and most interesting creations in the sector. Admission will be free, a strategic choice to guarantee broad and inclusive participation, allowing everyone to approach this fascinating world. Continuous hours, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., will make the event accessible to a varied public, from residents to tourists visiting the city.

The choice of Jesolo as the venue is not random. The Venetian city, in fact, offers an ideal setting for an event of this magnitude. Known as one of Italy’s most popular tourist destinations, Jesolo attracts a constant flow of visitors, both national and international, especially during the spring period. But it is not just a question of tourism. Jesolo is less than 30 minutes away from Venice Airport, ensuring easy accessibility, and is close to the Veneto Watch District, a pole of excellence for the sector. Moreover, the city represents a new catchment area for watchmaking events, an area that is still unexplored but rich in potential. There are also logistical advantages: a wide range of hotels, restaurants and leisure facilities at competitive prices, combined with excellent hospitality, makes Jesolo the perfect location for an international event. During spring break, the city is particularly popular with visitors from Austria, Switzerland and Germany, adding an international touch to the event. W.O.J. will not just be exhibiting watches, but will offer a series of side events to engage the public in an original and entertaining way. Among these is the Happy Horology Hour, an aperitif accompanied by a DJ-set scheduled for Saturday 10 May from 17:00 to 21:00, perfect to end the first day on a high note. Art lovers will not be able to miss the watch-themed live painting performances by the artist Crimasso, who will transform his creativity into unique works before the public’s eyes.
On Sunday 11 May, on the other hand, space will be given to watchmaking culture with a talk from 3.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m., moderated by Marco Beltrandi of Tempo & Misura and with the participation of finisseur Alberto Nagliero, who will delve into the theme of ‘Finissage in Haute Horlogerie’. W.O.J. is focusing strongly on internationality, not only through the brands present, but also thanks to the participation of world-famous influencers and content creators. Among the guests will be the leading Italian faces in the industry, joined by international names such as WatchCollectiveTwo (Dubai) and DeeTimeLove Show (London), who will bring the event into the global spotlight. In addition, the brands will have the opportunity to exhibit their watches at the Swiss Creative Lab, Carlo Enea Naldi’s Art & Watches showroom in Risch-Rotkreuz-Zug, Switzerland, further expanding the visibility of the event. W.O.J. – Watches of Jesolo presents itself as a unique event, capable of combining tradition and innovation, art and technology, local and global. For watch enthusiasts, but also for the merely curious, it will be an unmissable opportunity to discover the latest trends in the sector, meet well-known faces and immerse oneself in a stimulating atmosphere. Jesolo, with its charm and liveliness, is ready to become the new reference point for independent watchmaking. All that remains is to mark the date in your diary and get ready to experience two unforgettable days.
