The Cannes Yachting Festival, the event that inaugurates the September boat shows, is confirmed as Europe’s most important event dedicated to global luxury yachting and a must-attend event for the international jet set. Around 700 boats, ranging from 5 to over 50 meters and distributed over two ports – Vieux Port and Port Canto – located respectively at either end of the Croisette. We interviewed Sylvie Ernoult, director of the Cannes Yachting Festival, whom we asked to talk to us about the sentiment on the first day of the show’s opening, sustainability and – of course – Made in Italy.
