From August 1 to 10, 2025, Senigallia becomes the epicentre of 1940s and 1950s American culture with the Summer Jamboree, “The Hottest Rockin’ Holiday on Earth,” celebrating its 25th anniversary with an extraordinary edition designed to captivate and astonish. More than a music festival, it’s an immersive experience uniting generations, cultures, and passions, drawing thousands from across the globe, as its ethos proclaims: “There are stories that seem straight out of a movie. Ours is made of smiles, old-time sounds, and encounters that change summers.” Since its founding in 2000, the Summer Jamboree has become a global icon for lovers of rock’n’roll, swing, and retro culture, winning hearts with its ability to connect diverse audiences, from youngsters to nostalgics, in an inclusive atmosphere welcoming families, couples, and fans of all ages.

From Piazza Garibaldi to the Rotonda a Mare, from the seafront to the historic centre, Senigallia dons twirling skirts, pompadours, and vintage cars, transforming into an open-air jukebox. The 2025 edition kicks off on August 1 with a prefestival featuring a Free Boot Sale at the Mascalzone on the eastern seafront, a vintage market for trading 1940s and ’50s clothes, records, and memorabilia, followed by a second event on August 10 at the Hawaiian Beach. The evening of August 1 opens the Vintage Market at Rocca Roveresca, the first concerts, and the Dopo Festival at Rotonda a Mare, while from August 2, the festival launches fully with the main stage at Piazza Garibaldi and a vibrant programme of concerts, DJ sets, free dance lessons, and exclusive events. The 2025 line-up honours rock’n’roll with artists like Vel Omarr (USA), paying tribute to Sam Cooke with a strikingly authentic voice, Ruby Turner (JAM), debuting in Italy with her iconic “This Train,” Curtis Salgado (USA), a blues guitarist who inspired the Blues Brothers, Les Greene (USA), the voice of Little Richard in Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis, and Pete Molinari (UK), a Springsteen-favoured songwriter with a bespoke performance. The Summer Jamboree is synonymous with uninhibited dancing, with Dance Camps and Boot Camps (August 2-9) offering lessons in Boogie Woogie, Lindy Hop, Jive, and Balboa led by world-class instructors like Alexsia Ghezzo (ITA), Minn Vo (USA), and Moe Sakan (JAP), plus free lessons by Luca Rizzioli and Carlotta Mignani at the Hawaiian Beach and Rocca Roveresca. Highlights include three Dance Shows (August 3, 8, and 9), the Hera Dance Contest (August 5), a free-entry couples’ competition open to all swing styles, and a major novelty: the Burlesque & Cabaret Show at Rocca Roveresca, now outdoors and free, hosted by stars like Russell Bruner (USA) and Eve La Plume (ITA).
The Hawaiian Beach on the western seafront is an oasis of music, dance, and sunset cocktails, while the Mascalzone enlivens the eastern seafront; Piazza Roma becomes the Airstream Dance Corner with DJ sets and a nightly Balboa session, and the Rotonda a Mare hosts the iconic Music and Dance by the Sea and the new Nightly Live: Balcony Jam Session with spontaneous performances. Other attractions include the Oldtimers Park with pre-1969 American cars, the Fearless Devid Motordrome in Piazza Simoncelli, the Walk-in Tattoo at Foro Annonario, and the Jamboree Summer Cucù for kids with creative workshops. With its blend of music, dance, culture, and conviviality, the Summer Jamboree is an alchemy that makes Senigallia a magical place, celebrating the joy of living, the energy of rock’n’roll, and the pride of a city that has welcomed the world with warmth and style for 25 years.
