Sirena Partenope at the Grand Hotel Parker’s in Naples

At the Grand Hotel Parker’s in Naples, a new art project dedicated to the Sirena Partenope will be presented by maestro Domenico Sepe on Wednesday, January 3, at 4:30 pm. The meeting, which will be attended by the Avallone family-owner of the hotel-and Andrea Prevosti, director of Parker’s, confirms “the constant vocation of the Neapolitan hotel in hosting cultural events and protagonists of the contemporary art world.” The event will anticipate the opening of a temporary exhibition by Domenico Sepe, curated by journalist and writer Michelangelo Iossa.

On Jan. 3, the sculptor will also exhibit some of the mermaids created for his new art project, along with the sketch – in progress – of the new sculpture dedicated to the Mermaid Partenope. The exhibition project will see Sepe’s works “dialogue directly with the viewer through an exhibition ready to go ‘beyond the spaces’ “.

Domenico Sepe is currently exhibiting in a “site-specific” section, 14 new works dedicated to Ian Fleming inside the Grand Hotel Parker’s, as part of the second edition of the exhibition “Parker’s Meets Bond” curated by Michelangelo Iossa and dedicated to the myth of 007.
