Rome Fashion Show # Haute Couture

On 13 and 14 July, new designers and fashion ambassadors will take their creations down the catwalk at the Spazio Eventi in Rome. For the new Italian fashion proposals, the collections of eight women will take to the catwalk with garments expressing their own stylistic ideas. Opening the dances will be Ve.Q EXPERIENCE (by designer Veronica Quadraroli) who will present her sustainable Flos collection, a tribute to feminine strength and boldness, expressing delicacy and character. Emanuela Madonna, the second on the calendar, will showcase her dresses that, with sartorial mastery, games of pleats, silks, laser-etched leather and 3D scuba, decline the concept of illusory reality. This will be followed by Concita Teas&Pearls, with her “Bella Sedara”, who will present a collection characterised by silks and cottons, which draws maximum inspiration from an ancient Sicily, that of Tommasi di Lampedusa, rich in beauty and sensuality.

At 7.00 p.m. it will be Raimonda Casale’s turn with her satin, lace, mikado, tulle, cadi and organza creations, embellished with pictorial decorations and spotlights. Maria Elena di Terlizzi, next, brings Puglia, the region that evokes her freedom and euphoria, to the catwalk, showing lace dresses in Mediterranean shades, which appeal to the elegant and lively woman. Gioia Radini also pays homage to the peninsula, with dresses inspired by every Italian region, featuring hand-painted natural fabrics and embellished with natural stones. Barbara Basciano presents ‘Fashion is Elegance’ designed for a romantic and courageous woman, the dresses represent the contrast represented by light fabrics characterised by transparencies and adorned with rhinestones and pearls. Pina Grasso will close the day on Saturday with her exclusive bridal collection, dedicated to unique and refined women.  During the second day of Rome Fashion Show # Haute Couture, on Sunday 14th, the spotlight will be on five ambassadors of Italian fashion, who from 7.00 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. will showcase their most iconic garments from their personal archives, a tribute to the “La Dolce Vita” period and memorable events such as “Donna sotto le stelle” and Alta Roma. From the Maison Franco Ciambella, dresses inspired by the Venus de Milo and her imperfect beauty will be shown.

The brightly coloured garments feature 3D work and hand-painted prints, enriched with golden threads. Next it will be the turn of Maison Michele Miglionico, the designer who brings romance and drama together presents a collection composed of several iconic dresses that highlight the maniacal attention to detail, showcased through a careful play of contrasts.

The Maison Nino Lettieri will showcase a selection of evening gowns made from 2010 to 2020, which are united by their haute couture and handmade in Italy, each of them appealing to a chic, refined and precious woman. At 8.30 p.m. it will be the turn of the Maison Gianni Sapone with a selection of haute couture from 2000 to the present day. Every single dress has its own history and magic, the foundations of every collection created by the couturier. Finally, it will be the turn of Maison Giovanni Cannistrà. The designer’s creations, made from 1998 to 2024, are characterised by bold combinations, such as lace and brocade, a clear reference to his homeland, Sicily. Each stylist will also present a tribute to his or her master, the man or woman who has always brought a little something or other into his or her collections.
