Marina d’Arechi: the realm of excellence

The Cannes Yachting Festival is the right opportunity to present the excellence of the Belpaese and its extraordinary receptive capacity for the nautical sector as well, to a large international audience. Marina d’Arechi, one of the 50 Italian sites on the World Heritage List, considered by UNESCO to be a World Heritage Site, is Salerno’s marina halfway between the Amalfi and Cilento coasts, the only port in the Mediterranean designed by a great signature of contemporary architecture such as Santiago Calatrava.

A total water surface of 340 thousand square meters, 1000 berths that can also accommodate maxi-yachts up to 100 meters, 21 piers and docks, 8700 square meters of commercial and entertainment spaces, 1000 parking spaces, 27 thousand square meters for green areas, gardens and promenades, and an investment of 120 million euros, exclusively private resources.

We interviewed Rania Rajab – Head of Superyacht Division of Marina d’Arechi – and asked her to tell us about this Made in Italy project that aims to change the face and soul of the yachting industry.
