Lupaia, 400 years of history

It’s a four-century-long story at Lupaia, which began as a farm and is now a well-kept relais with the charm of a small hamlet and only 12 rooms.

Christopher and Heidi Müller, the two owners, fell in love and acquired this place in 2016, personally overseeing the conservative restoration of the property in which every architectural element has been preserved to the fullest and renovated with current style and vision, while many of the furnishings are mementos of travels and works by artists, vintage carpets, selected Italian textiles, Victorian bathrooms, and they are the ones who welcome guests and accompany them into the magic of Lupaia.

All the residences, the latest of which were renovated in 2023, “Vigna” and “Oliva,” have their own distinctive character and are in five different stone and brick buildings covered with ivy and American vines, once used as rural spaces and now a symbol of a Tuscany that is the guardian of beautiful stories, affections and traditions.

Lupaia, affiliated with the Small Luxury Hotels of the World, is the quintessence of “slow-living,” to get in touch with nature and, above all, with oneself while indulging in simple but sublime pleasures.
