H.E. Luca Gori, Ambassador of Italy in Serbia, and the promotion of Made in Italy

Luca Gori, Ambassador of Italy to Serbia welcomed us at the Embassy on the occasion of the 8th edition of the Italian-Serbian Film Festival conceived and directed by Gabriella Carlucci and explained how this annual film festival, which promotes contemporary works of Italian and Serbian cinema, represents an opportunity for meeting and exchange between professionals and practitioners and has contributed to strengthening cultural and economic relations between the two countries. Italy is today Serbia’s most important European partner with more than 1,200 registered Italian companies and an interchange exceeding 4.5 billion euros. Moreover, Belgrade is preparing to be the first international venue for Italy with an articulated presence of Italian institutions. Not only our embassy, but also the Institute of Culture, ICE, Confindustria and the Chamber of Commerce, joined this year by Sace and Simest, which have already opened their offices while Cassa Depositi e Prestiti will open its office in Belgrade by the end of the year.
