After the exciting fashion show event on April 1st at the Salone delle Fontane, BEYOND WORDS continues with its final installment: the photography exhibition at Palazzo Braschi, scheduled to open on April 2nd, World Autism Awareness Day.
Once again this year, the “Modelli si Nasce” Association and the Department for Major Events, Tourism, Sports, and Fashion of Roma Capitale joined forces, creativity, and vision to send a powerful message: fashion can (and must) be inclusive.
The second edition of Modelli si Nasce – BEYOND WORDS featured 20 young autistic models walking the runway in exclusive creations designed by fashion designers focused on inclusion, innovation, and sustainability. Among the participants were Leonardo Valentini, Alchètipo, Migale Couture, Simon Cracker, Chronos Corps, along with French brands Calla and Kyme.
Following the show, the exhibition “BEYOND WORDS” was inaugurated (open to the public at Palazzo Braschi until April 21st). Curated by Federica Trotta Mureau and accompanied by photographs by Danilo Falà, the exhibition portrays the silent essence of the young people from the “Modelli si Nasce” association. It’s a project that transforms imagery into poetry and gives voice to those who communicate beyond words. The visual journey is enriched by a short film directed by Federico Papagna and graphic direction by Daria Reina and Andrea Ferolla.
The press conference featured speeches from Rossano Giuppa, the project manager of the event, Silvia Cento, President of the Association, and Alessandro Onorato, Councillor for Major Events, Tourism, Sports, and Fashion of the City of Rome.
